Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, including construction or project-based accounting.
• Strong understanding of job costing, contract accounting, percentage-of-completion reporting, and project financial analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, Vista, Foundation, QuickBooks, or similar.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reports, data analysis, and large spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage job cost accounting and maintain accurate project financial records for multiple construction projects.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and work-in-progress schedules.
• Review contracts, change orders, billing activity, and subcontractor payments for accuracy.
• Analyze project budgets, forecast variances, and provide financial insights to project management teams.
• Partner with leadership to support month-end close, audit preparation, and process improvements.
