Job summary

SpaceX is hiring for a College Station, TX-based construction projects specialist. You will own the full lifecycle of civil, structural, and utility projects, collaborating with engineers, vendors, and internal customers to deliver facilities that meet SpaceX standards.

The role requires onsite work and occasional extended hours to support project deadlines. You will lead multi-discipline teams, manage cost and scheduling, and ensure compliance with city and governmental approvals while driving

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or an engineering related discipline with 3+ years in construction, engineering, or facilities management; or 7+ years in lieu of a degree.
Experience leading civil, utility, or facility-related construction projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee full lifecycle of civil, structural, and utility projects to ensure on-time, under-budget delivery.
Gather ROM costs, proposals, and evaluate bids; develop final cost and schedule.
Write and manage contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines.
Coordinate approvals with city, county, and governmental entities; resolve field issues in real time.
Track invoicing, manage documentation, and liaison with end users and facilities team.
