Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Civil Project Manager to lead end-to-end civil construction for Starbase Development in Starbase, TX, coordinating with design teams, utilities, and construction crews to deliver residential, commercial, and industrial projects that support Starship production.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets, ensure permits, write and negotiate contracts, and drive pragmatic on-site solutions while coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, or engineering.
• Licensure or certification as PE (TX) or PMP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil infrastructure projects end-to-end, including design, permitting, procurement, construction, and close-out.
• Own project scope, schedule, and budget from conception through closeout for residential subdivisions, commercial amenities and community recreational projects; actively drive projects to meet target budgets and timelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between design teams, utility operational teams, facilities maintenance groups, stakeholders, contractors, subcontractors, and local municipal or utility authorities having jurisdiction
• Manage permitting and inspection processes with internal utility operational teams, and local jurisdictions and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs)
• Write, negotiate, and manage design and construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time, prioritizing pragmatic, fast-moving solutions
• Support with long-term utility and civil planning for future phases of development and master planning for Starbase
• Take on new projects ad-hoc as the business needs
