Actalent is seeking an experienced Construction Manager II to lead onsite construction activities for a high-profile industrial manufacturing project in Moulton, Alabama. This is a pivotal leadership role guiding construction from mobilization through startup readiness.

You will oversee daily operations, coordinate contractors and vendors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget alignment on a large capital project.

Qualifications

Experience leading construction activities in industrial manufacturing or similar environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency with project controls and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Lead daily construction activities across the project site.
Manage general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and trades.
Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and equipment installation.
Conduct field inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
Monitor schedules, milestones, and critical path activities.
Identify risks and support recovery plans.
Ensure adherence to site safety requirements and industry standards.
Facilitate coordination meetings with engineers, contractors, and project leadership.
