Insight Global is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex industrial projects onsite in Smyrna, TN. You will lead field operations, coordinate contractors and engineers, manage schedules and budgets, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in construction management for heavy industrial facilities, strong on-site leadership, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience.
• 10+ years supporting heavy industrial projects.
• Comfortable working fully onsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction activities across industrial construction projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and identify risks that could impact schedule, safety, budget, or quality.
• Ensure compliance with all site safety requirements, company policies, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and quality reviews.
• Manage construction meetings and provide detailed project status updates to leadership and clients.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Support procurement and material management activities to ensure timely project execution.
• Resolve field issues and facilitate effective communication between construction and engineering teams.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Support startup, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities.
• Mentor field personnel and promote a strong safety-first culture.
