Job summary

ADM is seeking an Industrial Construction Manager to lead on-site execution for North American capital projects in Decatur, IL. You will supervise contractor performance and field teams from design through commissioning, coordinating with project management, engineering, EHS, and operations to deliver safe, on-schedule, within-budget results.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, capability with Maximo/SAP, and strong leadership with a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• This position requires a strong background in executing industrial construction on capital projects.
• Experience with brownfield and retrofit projects in running facilities is preferred.
• Travel to project sites is required or expected.
• Background check and relocation are part of the process.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily on-site leadership and oversight of contractor supervisors and field activities.
• Participates in design/constructability reviews and execution strategy development.
• Measures progress and reports metrics to mitigate risk and improve performance.
• Ensures safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and site standards are followed.
• Supports commissioning and turnover activities with Operations and Engineering teams.
• Manages site logistics, materials, and rental equipment tracking.
• Oversees QA/QC during mechanical completion turnover packages.
• Manages change control, RFIs, and field-directed scope changes.
