Job summary

Radiant is building a first-of-kind advanced nuclear manufacturing facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and seeks a hands-on Construction Manager / Owner’s Representative to drive field execution and translate aggressive schedules into built outcomes.

This startup, onsite decision-maker role requires staying onsite during construction, coordinating with GCs, design teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction management for industrial facilities.
• Direct onsite oversight of GC(s), subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong sequencing, scheduling, and change-management skills.
• Willingness to be onsite in Oak Ridge, TN, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary onsite owner authority during all construction phases.
• Maintain daily field presence and drive execution with contractors.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and change orders.
• Own day-to-day schedule awareness and lookahead planning.
• Participate in design discussions for future phases.
• Coordinate with EHS, regulatory teams and inspectors.
• Ensure turnover, commissioning, and startup readiness.
• Transition to facilities or site operations as needed.
