Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a Superintendent to provide primary on-site management of projects, subcontractors, and employees, reporting to the Program Manager. Responsibilities include supervising construction activities, coordinating crews, and maintaining client relations.

Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years in supervisory construction, blueprint literacy, and strong MS Office skills. OSHA 30 preferred, with emphasis on safety and efficient resource use.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in construction supervision.
• Ability to read, understand and apply information from blueprints and specs.
• Strong coordination and communication skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate activities of construction projects and crews.
• Coordinate, direct and lead workers engaged in construction activities.
• Supervise crews to ensure quality workmanship, efficiency and morale.
• Communicate changes in requirements, scheduling and subcontractor issues with the Project Manager.
• Review crew time sheets and submit to Payroll on schedule.
• Ensure safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
• Provide calculations on hours, materials, and resource needs.
• Plan, allocate resources, and coordinate people and equipment.
