Job summary

C M T A Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Administrator for our Indianapolis office. In this full-time role, you will manage project specifications and oversee contract documents. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in the construction field and proficiency in relevant software.

Key responsibilities include maintaining project specifications, coordinating templates, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with specifications.
• CDT certification is a plus.
• Experience with spec editing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage project specifications and oversee construction documents.
• Coordinate with clients on specifications templates.
• Assist with document processing including shop drawings and change orders.
• Technical editing for clarity and consistency.

Skills

Experience with specifications in the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction field

Knowledge of CSI MasterFormat

Proficiency with Adobe/Bluebeam

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
