Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, seeks a Senior Construction Administrator in Louisville, KY to manage project specifications and contract docs. This full-time, in-office role runs Monday through Friday with growth opportunities within CMTA’s engineering team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in design or construction administration, and proficiency with Adobe/Bluebeam, Newforma or Procore, plus MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 10+ years in design engineering, construction administration, or related roles.
• Strong coordination and communication with design team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with contract language and current code requirements.
• Assist with shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and closeout documents.
• Perform submittal reviews and incorporate team comments into responses.
• Prepare field observation reports and maintain construction plans with the design team.
• Monitor schedules, logs, and closeout documentation; communicate with clients.
