Job summary

Catholic Charities of Oregon (CCO) provides resident services at affordable housing across Oregon. The Francis + Clare RSS greets residents, assists with event programming, food pantry staffing, and distributing service updates.

The role supports on-site staff with program delivery, collaboration with the Skills Trainer and Community Engagement Specialist, and regular community activities. The RSS position operates with some on-site hours and on-call support, including evenings/weekends, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years' work or volunteer experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/AED/Narcan Training certification required or ability to certify within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and visitors and direct to staff.
• Foster positive relationships and be an approachable on-site presence.
• Answer inquiries and provide information to staff.
• Assist residents with forms (maintenance, space agreements, resident reports).
• Maintain event and incident logs per agency standards.
• Assist new residents with move-in orientation.
• Plan/host events including weekly community meals.
• Staff the weekly food pantry and maintain pantry cleanliness.
• Collaborate on event planning and communications distribution.
• Coordinate community resource information sessions for residents.
• Update lobby with forms and resource info.
• Assist in welcome packet materials creation.
• Maintain information/referral resources database.
• Ensure doors/windows are locked at night.
• Respond to emergencies when needed (911)
• Direct residents to resources for lockouts and emergencies
• Light cleaning as needed.
• Attend trainings and meetings as requested.
• Adhere to Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
