Job summary

New Narrative in Oregon is seeking a Residential Support Specialist to join our nonprofit team. The RSS collaborates with a multidisciplinary staff to assist residents in achieving daily living skills and personal goals within our mental health residential program.

You'll provide hands-on support for activities of daily living, medication management, and crisis de-escalation, while ensuring a safe, respectful home environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and able to implement emergency procedures and disaster plan.
• Must be able to administer CPR and Naloxone (Narcan).
• Comfortable working independently in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents to support progress toward goals using strength-based approaches.
• Assist with daily living activities and medication management when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly house environment.
• Document engagement notes, shift logs, and incident reports per policy.
