Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Installer to work onsite with our commercial customers, setting up and programming integrated fire and security systems. The role includes dismantling and reconstructing equipment when required, while following safety practices and customer schedules.

You will prepare estimates, read blueprints, and coordinate with police/fire departments on installations. This position may involve leading installation teams on larger projects and mentoring newer

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
6+ years electrical/electronic equipment experience.
Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
Ability to operate hand and power tools.
Ability to operate fleet vehicle safely.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Install and program integrated security fire and security systems for commercial customers.
Dismantle and reconstruct equipment when necessary.
Coordinate installations and schedule with customers and departments.
Ensure safety compliance and proper cleanup of installation debris.
Mentor and coach less experienced installers on larger projects.
