Job summary

Tecta America New England, a leading commercial roofing contractor, seeks an experienced Estimator to deliver accurate, competitive roof cost projections. The role collaborates with sales, project management, and customers to ensure bids reflect scope and pricing.

The position requires 3–5 years of estimating experience, proficiency with Excel and The Edge, and the ability to travel to job sites. Onsite roles at North Billerica MA or Brockton MA are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of commercial roofing estimating experience.
• Ability to read/interpret architectural drawings and manage multiple projects.
• Solid understanding of commercial roofing systems: TPO, modified, built-up.
• Experience with The Edge estimating software is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Price estimates, change orders, and secure competitive pricing from vendors.
• Conduct onsite inspections to assess roofing conditions and estimate costs.
• Collaborate with sales and project management to ensure accurate, competitive proposals.
• Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and job meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors; develop new business.
• Coordinate with Service and Production to ensure seamless project execution.
