Job summary

Tecta America New England, a leading commercial roofing contractor in the Northeast, is seeking an on-site Estimator at our North Billerica or Brockton locations. You will produce detailed roofing proposals, attend pre-bid walkthroughs, and work closely with sales and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Required 3–5 years of estimating experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong skills in reading drawings and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related fields, preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• Commercial roofing estimating experience, 3-5 years.
• Strong estimation skills, ability to read/interpret architectural drawings and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform estimating duties including pricing, change orders, and securing competitive vendor pricing.
• Conduct onsite inspections to assess roofing conditions and estimate project costs.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure accurate, competitive proposals.
• Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and job meetings.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and vendors to develop new business.
• Coordinate with Service and Production on job specifics for seamless execution.
