Reeves Young LLC in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent - Commercial to assist the on-site Superintendent and manage day-to-day construction activities at the Sugar Hill/Atlanta site. This full-time role focuses on coordinating field crews, subcontractors, and material vendors to keep the project on schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand project documents, e.g., drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, owner agreement terms.
• Understanding project scheduling and cost control.
• Good attention to detail with ability to recognize discrepancies on project plans.
• Ability to perform general physical activities including lifting and movement on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent by assisting in supervising all on-site construction for the jobsite.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of field employees, subcontractors and material vendors to expedite the project schedule.
• Maintain daily progress reporting and paperwork (daily reports, photos, payroll, time reporting, crew reports, schedule updates, emails).
• Participate in project team and trade contractor meetings regarding schedule, safety, cleanliness, and manpower needs.
• Manage permit and inspection process and attend regularly scheduled progress meetings.
