Aftermath Services LLC in Aurora, IL is seeking a high-energy, hands-on Collections Manager to lead, develop, and manage our collections team focused on insurance-carrier receivables for remediation projects.

The successful candidate will implement strategies to reduce aging, supervise four to five collection representatives, and work directly with carriers, adjusters, and self-payors to resolve disputed payments.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in insurance-payor remediation/restoration collections with carriers/adjusters.
• 5+ years in collections, accounts receivable, or credit and collections management.
• Experience supervising and developing a team, with accountability for results.
• Knowledge of remediation/restoration billing and insurance-related AR.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of four to five collection representatives.
• Own collections performance and oversee daily activity to ensure timely follow-up.
• Develop strategies to reduce aging receivables and improve cash flow.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers, adjusters, and customers to resolve disputes.
• Report on aging, performance, and cash flow, driving process improvements.
