Dover Corporation's Microwave Products Group (MPG) in Salisbury, MD is seeking a CNC Machinist-Set Up to set up and operate machine tools to cut, shape and form metal stock and castings to exact sizes. You will read detailed drawings and use CAD systems for precise manufacturing.

The role requires 4 years of machine shop experience and a strong math background. The pay range is USD 24–33 per hour, with a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years of related machine shop experience.
• Mathematical skills with emphasis on plane and solid geometry.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals and technical materials.
• Machine shop training in mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties and layout and machining procedures.
• Specialized machine operation training or apprentice a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of machine operation safety.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operates machine tools to cut, shape and form metal stock and castings to exact sizes using drawings, CAD systems and specifications.
• Determine dimensions and tolerances of job to be machined.
• Use machine tools ranging from lathes to milling machines; may operate CNC controlled machines.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to check accuracy of work.
