Job summary

Phillips Corporation is seeking an Onsite Machine Tool Maintenance Specialist to own the assessment and preventive maintenance of a wide range of machine tools at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in the United States. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems, delivering elite reporting and training to customers while maintaining flawless service records.

You must have 8+ years in machine tool maintenance, experience with CNC and manual machines, and PLC control expertise.

Qualifications

8 years or more of machine tool and/or industrial maintenance experience.
Experience with manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills, grinders, saws, press brakes and metrology equipment.
PLC and controls system experience including reading, troubleshooting and editing ladder logic in Siemens Step 7, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell-Collins and Heidenhain.
Military background/experience or experience in a regulated environment is a plus.
Due to customer requirements, candidates must be a US citizen to be considered.

Responsibilities

Own the assessment and preventative maintenance process for a broad range of machine tools and production equipment.
Diagnose issues and provide expert-level reporting on equipment readiness to ensure production never slows down.
Provide elite technical oversight, training and support to customers and Phillips Partners.
Maintain 100% accurate service reports and strong professional relationships to support the fleet.
