Job summary

Phillips Corporation at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in New Hampshire seeks an Onsite Machine Tool Maintenance Specialist to inspect, maintain, and improve a wide range of machine tools and production equipment, from newer systems to legacy machines, with prevention as a focus.

You will apply PLC knowledge and troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues, report equipment readiness, and train customers and teammates, helping raise maintenance standards across Phillips Partners.

Qualifications

• 8 years or more of machine tool and/or industrial maintenance.
• Experience with manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, grinders, saws, press brakes and metrology equipment.
• Relocation to Portsmouth, NH area with financial assistance.
• PLC and controls system experience, including reading, troubleshooting and editing ladder logic in a variety of PLCs.

• Inspect, maintain, and improve a wide range of machine tools and production equipment.
• Provide expert guidance, training, and support to customers and teammates.
• Use digital tools to keep service reports accurate and up to date.
