Job summary

Stryker Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently through troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of CNC machines and automated equipment.

The role requires reading schematics, following maintenance procedures, and collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime, with strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Onsite schedule includes Fri & Sat, 5:00am - 7:30pm and Sundays, 5:00am - 5:30pm; travel 0%.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• 1 year of technical school, apprenticeship, or equivalent maintenance education.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, procedures, and documentation.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience with CNC machines and automated equipment.
• Preferred: CMMS experience and GMP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and automated production equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system issues.
• Respond to downtime events and restore equipment safely and quickly.
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation in CMMS.
• Support 5S, Lean, reliability, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Read schematics, drawings, manuals, and procedures.
• Assist with installations, upgrades, relocations, and related projects.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Promote safety, accountability, teamwork, and customer service.
