Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Machinist II to operate CNC and manual machines, producing precision components for life‑saving medical technologies. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet quality goals.

The role requires 2+ years on machines, a Machinist Certification is preferred, and the schedule is Mon–Thu 6:00am–4:30pm with potential overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience actively working on machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on machining experience (CNC or manual) in a production setting.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends, overtime, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC and/or manual machining equipment to meet specifications.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish on produced parts.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings; document quality results.
• Perform routine quality checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Identify and escalate equipment issues or quality deviations.
• Support 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with team leads, engineers, and quality partners to meet goals.
