Onsite Certified Medical Assistant (OCMA) – FULL-TIME, NON-EXEMPTSHIFT: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend support as business needs requireLOCATION: Territory Based (Must Reside Within Assigned Territory)MedStreamline is seeking a compassionate, professional, and highly motivated Onsite Certified Medical Assistant (OCMA) to support residents and healthcare teams within long-term care and senior living communities throughout an assigned territory. This field-based role serves as the face of MedStreamline, providing direct patient support, conducting vital assessments, and partnering with facility teams to ensure exceptional patient experiences and quality outcomes. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory and maintain reliable transportation.Essential FunctionsPatient & Facility Support• Work directly inside long-term care and senior care facilities across assigned territories.• Perform full vitals assessments on assigned patients using MedStreamline’s FDA-approved medical devices, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality.• Escalate critical vitals to facility staff as appropriate.• Support patient care needs within program and facility guidelines.• Build trust and meaningful relationships with residents, nurses, and facility leadership.• Ensure residents feel supported, comfortable, and cared for.• Serve as a consistent, calm, professional presence.Hands-On Support in the Facility• Assist with established facility workflows related to assigned programs.• Troubleshoot challenges side-by-side with facility staff.• Ensure documentation is completed accurately, timely, and correctly.• Identify concerns or clinical red flags and escalate to leadership appropriately.Be the Bridge Between Teams• Serve as an on-site representative and resource for MedStreamline.• Provide real-time insight from the field to MedStreamline leadership.• Partner closely with Clinical Operations, Compliance, Logistics, IT, and Leadership.• Help streamline workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.• Represent MedStreamline with professionalism, warmth, and accountability.Required• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential through AAMA, AMT, or NHA• Experience in patient care, long-term care, senior care, or clinical support preferred• Outstanding communication, compassion, and professionalism• Strong documentation accuracy and attention to detail • Comfort using technology and medical devices• Ability to travel daily within assigned territory• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and automobile insurance.• Must reside within the assigned territory and maintain residency within the territory as a condition of employment.Preferred• Familiarity with EMR systems, telehealth platforms, and long-term care environments• Experience working with skilled nursing or assisted living facilities• Experience in patient care, long-term care, senior care, or clinical support• Travel medical assistant experienceWork Environment and Expectations• Daily interaction with residents and facility teams• Must meet all facility credentialing and access requirements• Active CMA certification through AAMA, NHA, or AMT requiredPhysical Requirements• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout healthcare facilities during scheduled shifts.• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and move between resident rooms and common areas.• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation.• Ability to transport, set up, and utilize company-issued medical devices, equipment, and supplies.• Ability to operate medical devices, tablets, mobile phones, computers, and other office equipment.• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements, including typing, data entry, and device operation.• Ability to visually assess residents, read printed materials and computer screens, and accurately document patient information.• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication platforms.• Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory, including driving to multiple facilities each day.• Ability to work in healthcare environments with exposure to infectious diseases, bodily fluids, varying environmental conditions, and other conditions common to long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, and senior living communities while following applicable safety and infection control protocols.• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.Success in This Role• Patient assessments are completed accurately and on schedule.• Facility relationships remain strong and collaborative.• Documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant.• Clinical concerns are identified and escalated appropriately.• Operational and patient care objectives are consistently achieved.Why Join MedStreamline LLC?A Better Way for Senior Healthcare MedStreamline is transforming the senior healthcare experience by delivering innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes, reduce unnecessary hospitalizations, and support proactive healthcare management.Focus on People & WellnessOur employees are at the center of everything we do.
