Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Lead Project Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure for a Proprietary Program. The role is execution-focused within the Digital Infrastructure Segment and requires 100% onsite work in Hazelwood, MO with up to 10% travel and a U.S.

Secret Security Clearance. You will lead cloud engineering efforts, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage EVM reporting, and serve as CAM while building strong customer and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• 9+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Experience working within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution for DIS work packages that heavily leverage Cloud Engineering capabilities.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage cross-functional teams to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Define work packages, allocate resources, track progress and manage subcontractor activities.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics and analytics to measure technical and business outcomes.
• Manage Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and analysis; support risk, issue, and opportunity management.
• Respond to changes in SOW, assess impacts, and negotiate modifications to deliverables, costs, and schedules.
• Serve as Cost Account Manager (CAM) as assigned.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and the customer.
• Promote a transparent, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
