Job summary

CorVel seeks a Clerical Assistant to support the claims staff with setup and administration of workers’ compensation claims and case management. This is an onsite role in Overland Park, KS.

You will set up new claims, process mail and files, and input notes in the claims system, handling payments and form letters. You will also assist with provider, claimant and customer calls and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or beyond preferred.
• Up to 6 months of service-oriented office experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up new claims and manage case setup tasks.
• Process mail, handle files, and input diary notes in the claims system.
• Process payments as needed and prepare form letters/reports.
• Assist claims examiners with calls to providers, claimants, and customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
