PCI Federal (PCIF) in Washington, DC is seeking a Case Analyst to provide comprehensive legal case management support to the Civil Division of the Department of Justice. The role requires experience with courts and interpreting court orders from initiation through trial, appeal, and final resolution.

• B.S. or a B.A. degree.
• 1
• Paralegal Certificate.
• Research and analytical experience in a legal environment.
• Experience with courts and legal matters from inception through trial, appeal, and resolution.
• Ability to interpret dispositive case information.
• Excellent written and effective oral communication skills.
• Proven track record of consistent and accurate application of rules and procedures.
• Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrates professional maturity and self-control in challenging situations.
• Ability to think proactively.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow‑up actions.
• Ability to identify problem areas and recommend corrective actions to improve processes.

Responsabilidades

• Manage frequent contact with the client, attorneys and Civil Division personnel.
• Train attorneys on how to use case management system and its modules.
• Interview attorneys at multiple building locations and gather case information; update the application/database.
• Complete a minimum of 10 interviews per week and follow up within 10 business days.
• Prepare and process Civil Division forms that dispose a stage or close a case.
• Analyze computer-generated reports for omissions and inconsistencies; recommend improvements.
• Research and analyze case documents using Lexis to identify information and interpret events.
• Enter data into the application/database and maintain weekly work reports.
• Provide user support for CIMS and related modules; write procedures and train users.
