Job summary

Ontic, a leading aerospace OEM, is seeking a Program Manager at its Chatsworth, CA site. You will own product lines, drive cross-functional execution, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality and financial performance.

You will coordinate with engineering and supply chain, manage schedules, mitigate risks, and drive improvements to support government programs and customer satisfaction. Onsite in Chatsworth with a strong focus on governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of program/project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace environments.
• Proven ability to manage tight schedules and meet deadlines.
• Experience cross‑functional collaboration and accountability across teams.
• Strong supply chain and sourcing background; expediting parts and vendor management.
• Familiarity with government contracts and quality standards (e.g., FAR/DFAR).
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Customer-focused with understanding of revenue, margin and delivery impact.
• Demonstrated problem-solving mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage assigned product lines, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and financial performance (P&L).
• Drive execution across 10–15 cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations.
• Manage schedules, identify risks early, implement mitigation plans to closure.
• Lead daily/weekly execution rhythms to maintain momentum.
• Collaborate with supply chain to expedite material and resolve shortages.
• Provide hands-on guidance to move projects forward and unblock execution.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and high satisfaction.
• Support government programs with contract and quality compliance.
• Drive financial performance by managing revenue, margin, and costs.
• Identify and implement process improvements for delivery and efficiency.
• Lead project closures and transitions to sustaining functions.
