Job summary

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Tyler, Texas. This is an on-site, contract-to-hire role with a 40-hour workweek. Shifts run between 8 AM and 8:30 PM, with two or three weekends per month.

Wage ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience. Responsibilities include filling daily drug orders under pharmacist supervision, labeling, and preparing prescriptions, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Texas Pharmacy Technician license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician Certificate.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Fills daily drug orders accurately and timely under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare finished prescriptions by picking, labeling, scanning, and verification.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycling per procedures.
• Prepack frequently ordered medications and label/store during low volume times.
• Package materials and products manually.
• Pull medications from shelving and prepack racks.
• Label blister cards and scan for accuracy.
• Notify pharmacist on duty of scanning issues.
• Maintain workstation areas and replenish stock.
• Follow HIPAA and government regulations.
• Overtime, holidays and weekends may be required.
• Comply with safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
