Dick Lavy Trucking in Bradford, Ohio is hiring an experienced CDL Driver Recruiter to join our onsite team. You will source CDL-A drivers, answer inquiries, and manage the full recruiting process to keep our driver pipeline robust for current and future openings.

Qualifications

• Prior recruiting experience in CDL/transport recruiting preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport over the phone.
• Proficient with online recruiting tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Source and connect with CDL-A drivers via job boards, social media, referrals, and industry contacts.
• Handle inbound calls, answer questions, and follow up with drivers throughout the hiring process.
• Post and manage recruiting advertisements, and suggest new approaches to reach qualified candidates.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of drivers for current and future openings.
• Partner with operations to understand staffing needs and help prioritize recruiting efforts.
• Coordinate applications, pre-employment paperwork, and background check steps.
• Keep candidate records accurate and the recruiting workflow organized.
• Support recruiting marketing by helping manage and update recruiting content on the company website, Facebook, and other social media channels.
