Career Team in Snohomish County, WA seeks an Adult/Dislocated Worker Career Advisor to provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow‑up services under the supervision of the WIOA Program Lead. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities with good decision making.
• Computer literacy with MS Word/Excel and ability to learn databases.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse customer base and meet goals.
• Knowledge of the WIOA program requirements and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and case management services to the community.
• Complete intake and eligibility determinations for workforce programs.
• Assess job seekers’ employment and training needs with interviews and tests.
• Liaise between workforce programs and community partners.
• Enter data into participant information systems and maintain files.
• Guide development of individual employment plans based on goals.
• Stay current on labor market trends and best practices.
• Counsel on job opportunities, training programs, and services.
• Refer individuals to services and follow up on activities.
• Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, and job clubs.
