Job summary

Fever is seeking a part-time onsite Event Manager for Candlelight Concerts in Rochester, NY. The role runs weekly (Weds/Fri) with 29 hours max per week, a 6-month contract starting soon. Pay is 25$/hour; occasional holidays may apply.

You will coordinate onsite staff, manage guest lists, and ensure smooth event operations with strong customer service and leadership. Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in event management, a passion for live music, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in event management and/or a relevant degree (preferred).
• Interest and passion for live music and organizing events.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Experience leading an on-site team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of AV and PA systems (desirable).
• Personal laptop use required.
• Driver's license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as main onsite contact for Candlelight events and Fever Originals staff.
• Manage staff roster, scheduling, and communications with staffing agency.
• Train staff on duties: ticket validation, seating, candles setup.
• Transport supplies to venues using a vehicle when needed.
• Track inventory and venue supplies; handle printing needs.
• Manage guest lists and opening/closing remarks at events.
• Provide weekly status reports to Fever Originals Project Managers.
• Attend walk-throughs of potential venues when needed.
• Represent Fever and Candlelight brand professionally at events.
