Job summary

Fever is seeking a part-time onsite Event Manager for Candlelight Concerts in and near Ventura County, California. The role supports weekday prep and weekend concerts, with shows typically Fri–Sun; driving duties may be required and a driver’s license is preferred.

Contract is 6 months with potential extension, averaging up to 29 hours per week at $25/hour. The manager leads onsite teams, manages staff rosters, and ensures smooth guest experiences while safeguarding Fever and Candlelight brand

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in event management and/or a relevant degree (preferred).
• Interest and passion for live music and organizing events.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience leading an on-site team and coordinating staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly.
• Driver's license preferred and personal laptop required.
• Knowledge of AV/PA systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as main onsite contact for Candlelight events and Fever Originals staff.
• Oversee staff roster, set schedules, and coordinate with staffing agencies.
• Train staff on duties such as ticket validation, guest seating, and candle setup.
• Drive a U-Haul for event supplies; arrange alternatives if needed.
• Manage venue inventory, supplies, and printing needs.
• Handle guest lists and perform opening/closing remarks when required.
• Submit weekly status reports to Fever Originals project managers.
• Assist with venue walk-throughs and assess potential sites.
• Represent Fever and Candlelight professionally at events.
