Job summary

Fever is seeking a part-time onsite Event Manager for Candlelight Concerts in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role features flexible weekday prep plus event support, with most concerts on Fri–Sun evenings. The contract runs 6 months, 29 hours per week, with possible extension and a pay rate of $25 per hour.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in event management, strong customer service, and the ability to lead on-site teams under pressure. A valid driver’s license is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in event management and/or a relevant degree (preferred).
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Experience leading an on-site team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a pressured environment.
• Knowledge of AV and PA systems is desirable.
• Driver's license is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact onsite for Candlelight events and staff; communicate with Fever Originals manager.
• Full visibility into staff roster; set schedule; coordinate with staffing agency for reschedules.
• Ensure staff are trained for duties such as ticket validation, guest seating, and venue setup for candles.
• Drive uHaul with event supplies to/from venues when needed; arrange alternatives if unable to drive.
• Manage inventory and track supplies for venues; handle printing needs.
• Manage guest lists for all events and assist with opening/closing remarks (public speaking occasionally).
• Provide weekly reports to Fever Originals Project Managers on event status and feedback.
• Assist with venue walk-through evaluations; opportunities to expand Candlelight/ Fever Originals.
