Job summary

Bruker is seeking a temporary part-time Buyer/ Planner Specialist in Tucson, AZ to manage inventory levels and ERP-driven processes on the manufacturing floor. The role translates build plans into POs, creates sales orders, and supports KPI tracking and supplier communication.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years as a Buyer/Planner, knowledge of Made2Manage or QAD, and strong English communication. Onsite work with a third-party employment arrangement in Bruker BioSpin SII.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business or related discipline.
• 8–10 years work experience as Buyer/Planner.
• Made2Manage or QAD work experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced communication, organization and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Translate instrument build plan into separate purchase orders and oversee processing.
• Create Sales Orders to ensure rapid fulfillment of Service and Sales requests.
• Create weekly cycle-count lists for the manufacturing team.
• Participate in the implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Communicate revision changes to suppliers.
• Coordinate receipts of first-article inspections (FAIs).
• Create and close job orders for the manufacturing floor team.
• Process return authorizations (RMAs) through NCR process.
• Communicate to suppliers regarding non-conformances.
• Transact items in and out of Receiving Inspection.
• Maintain supply chain KPI's.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
