Job summary

Fralock, headquartered in Valencia, CA, is seeking a Buyer II to support production by initiating, processing, and verifying purchase orders. You will manage supplier delivery commitments, maintain ERP/MRP data, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure material availability by required dates.

The role requires collaboration with Planning, Production, Quality, Shipping, and Accounts Payable, with a focus on process improvement and data accuracy, in an onsite environment in Poway, CA.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage purchasing activities using ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong numerical, data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Review the purchasing queue and issue purchase orders with approved suppliers based on production needs.
• Monitor open purchase orders to meet delivery dates and flag shortages or delays.
• Resolve PO discrepancies with suppliers regarding delivery, pricing, and quantities.
• Negotiate favorable pricing and terms with suppliers within guidelines.
• Coordinate with Quality to address non-conforming materials and supplier-related quality issues.
• Maintain supplier information in M2M and ensure data accuracy for reporting.
