Job summary

Fralock is seeking a Purchasing Agent I to ensure timely flow of materials, manage supplier deliveries, and support production schedules at our Chatsworth, CA site. The role is onsite with full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and PTO.

The ideal candidate will have strong purchasing, inventory, receiving, and logistics knowledge, plus ERP system proficiency and excellent communication skills. 1st shift responsibilities and a driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Expedite open purchase orders and manage supplier commitments.
• Coordinate with receiving, purchasing and quality assurance to resolve shortages and discrepancies.
• Maintain ERP/MRP delivery commitments and track supplier performance.
• Support inventory accuracy and handling of materials and packing slips.
• Safely operate company vehicles for material transport between facilities.
