Job summary

Omninet Capital is seeking a skilled Building Engineer in Monterey Park, CA to maintain and operate our facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork with the engineering department and property management.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, ensure energy efficiency, and support installation of new equipment while adhering to Omninet policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Building Engineering or related role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Energy conservation knowledge; OSHA awareness training preferred.
• State/local license for Stationary Engineer/HVAC preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to implement effective solutions.
• Respond to building emergencies and address urgent repairs.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Support installation of new equipment and systems; provide team training.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
