Omninet Capital is seeking a skilled Building Engineer for the Ventura facility to maintain and operate essential building systems. You will perform routine inspections, repairs, and coordinate with a team of engineers to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in building operations and maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Working knowledge of energy conservation; formal training preferred.
• OSHA awareness certification as required.
• State/local license for Stationary Engineer/HVAC and EPA universal refrigerant recovery where applicable.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication for team collaboration.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory standards.
• Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with CMMS is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems.

• Support installation of new equipment and systems, ensuring proper functionality.
• Provide hands-on training and collaboration to other engineering team members.
• Record data in building logbooks and daily entries.
• Actively function as a team member and stay informed about industry trends.
