Job summary

Omninet Capital, LLC is seeking a skilled Building Engineer in Ventura, CA to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will work onsite with the engineering team, ensuring safety, code compliance, and efficient operation of the building infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands‑on experience in building operations and maintenance.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Building Engineering role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• OSHA awareness training certification as required.
• State/local licenses for Stationary Engineer and/or HVAC with universal refrigerant recovery (EPA) where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to implement effective solutions.
• Respond to building-related emergencies and address urgent repairs.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
