Job summary

Omninet Capital LLC is seeking a Building Engineer in Ventura, CA to maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and supporting infrastructure. You will work under engineering leadership to ensure safe, efficient operation and compliance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities include inspections, troubleshooting, urgent repairs, and assisting preventive maintenance planning. A strong customer-service mindset and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Building Engineering or related operations role.
• High school diploma; relevant technical certification a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints; knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.
• EPA Universal refrigerant recovery license and state/local Stationary Engineer/HVAC licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to identify and implement effective solutions.
• Respond promptly to building-related emergencies and address urgent repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules.
