Job summary

Republic Finance is offering an on-site Branch Operations Internship for current college juniors and seniors pursuing a Finance or Business focus. Interns will gain hands-on experience in loan origination, processing, closings, funding, and regulatory training, while exploring a career path through mentorship with management.

Paid at $15.00 per hour with a potential for full-time employment after program completion.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must have the ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet our acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing based on background check.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and learn loan processes and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and funding.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotional paths.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to Branch Operations.
• Learn about Branch Operations process improvement related projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are valuable.
