Republic Finance is offering a Branch Operations Internship for current juniors or seniors pursuing a Finance or Business focus. The program provides hands-on experience in loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, plus exposure to compliance training and branch operations projects.

Please note this job is 100% onsite. Interns are paid $15.00 per hour with potential full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing based on background check by state insurance department.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including allocating files for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotional path and career potential.
• Attend regional meetings and/or workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about Branch Operations process improvement projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are desired (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting).
