Job summary

Republic Finance in Simpsonville, SC is seeking Junior/Senior college interns for our Branch Operations program. You will learn the daily branch functions, participate in loan processes, compliance training, and leadership development, with hands-on experience in a growing consumer lender.

This 100% onsite internship pays $15.00 per hour and aims to convert to full-time employment after graduation. Ideal candidates are career driven, customer focused, and ready to start a meaningful career path

Qualifications

• Must be a current Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work 18–20 hours per week and pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Learn loan processes and regulatory training as part of the Branch Ops program.
• Assist in daily loan origination, processing, closings and fundings; prep and audit files.
• Meet with Manager/Regional VP to understand promotional paths and career potential.
• Attend regional meetings to gain exposure to Branch Operations and related projects.
• Explore process-improvement projects and potential corporate roles in the unit.
