Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a BMS Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of Building Management System (BMS) solutions within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The BMS Engineer will play a key role in supporting facility automation, HVAC control systems, and critical utility equipment while ensuring compliance with GMP and regulated manufacturing standards.

The BMS Engineer role is a long term, open ended contract and requires you to work onsite in Allentown, PA.

Qualifications

5+ years in BMS/BAS, controls, or automation engineering.
Hands-on Metasys configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms.

Responsibilities

Design and implement BMS controls for pharmaceutical facilities.
Develop, review, and maintain Sequences of Operation (SOOs) for HVAC and mechanical systems.
Create and maintain points lists, control narratives, and functional specifications.
Support commissioning, qualification, startup, and validation activities for BMS-controlled equipment.
Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Johnson Controls Metasys and Rockwell systems.
Provide technical support for AHUs, FCUs, HVAC systems, and related equipment.
Collaborate with Facilities, Engineering, Validation, and Operations teams to meet performance and compliance requirements.
