Job summary

Daedalus Industrial in Richmond, VA is seeking an Electrical Installation Project Manager to lead building management system design, installation, commissioning and project execution onsite at construction sites.

You will oversee low-voltage wiring, CAT6 and fiber installations, coordinate with PLC integrators and vendors, and ensure safety and code compliance while managing schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years hands-on BMS, building controls, and related systems.
• Datacenter construction and design experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, lighting, access controls.
• Willingness to travel and work on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for BMS design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Lead low-voltage wiring, conduit, CAT6 and fiber installations.
• Coordinate with vendors, manage RFIs and change orders.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; ensure scope and safety compliance.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Enforce OSHA standards on job sites.
• Review specifications and drawings for scope alignment.
