Job summary

Daedalus Industrial is seeking an Electrical Installation Project Manager for Richmond, VA, onsite at construction sites. The role leads BMS design, installation, and integration, overseeing low-voltage installations and system testing to ensure quality and safety.

You will manage projects, interface with clients and vendors, and coordinate resources while ensuring schedule, budget, and scope compliance. Travel to project sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years hands-on experience with BMS, building controls, and related systems.
• Datacenter construction & design experience.
• Strong knowledge of building controls systems (HVAC, lighting, access).
• Low voltage wiring methods, conduit and cable installation.
• PLC programming and industrial controls.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including scheduling and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for Building Management Systems (BMS), including design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee and execute low-voltage wiring, conduit, and cable installations (CAT6 and fiber).
• Perform and supervise cable terminations, testing, and certification.
• Be accountable for installation quality.
• As the technical leader, lead staff training.
• Coordinate with PLC integrator & other vendors on technical queries, RFIs, change orders, etc.
