Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or insurance verification/eligibility.
• Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and government assistance programs.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eligibility screenings and application support for financial aid programs
• Liaise with patients, hospital staff, and agencies to secure coverage
• Manage multiple cases, track progress, and follow up on applications
• Assist with complex cases, including disability claims and appeals
• Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation
• Support colleagues and assist with onboarding/training
