Job summary

Avant Specialty Benefits is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to provide on-site and telephonic benefits support to employees for our Northwest Arkansas client site. You will manage enrollments, onboarding, eligibility, and life events while maintaining systems with high accuracy.

The role requires 2–4 years in HR/benefits or customer service, strong PowerPoint skills, and familiarity with Workday. Travel within Arkansas is expected as part of the client-support duties.

Qualifications

• In-office minimum of three days per week.
• Travel to/from Little Rock and Bentonville/Fayetteville/Rogers Arkansas.
• 2-4 years HR/Employee Benefits and/or customer service experience.
• Bilingual capabilities (written/spoken) a plus but not required.
• PowerPoint and presentation skills preferred.
• Experience with Workday preferred.
• Benefits knowledge and staying current with industry trends.
• Identifies issues, root causes and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and telephonic benefits support to employees.
• Maintain knowledge of benefit plans, resources and client policies.
• Manage enrollments, onboarding, eligibility and life events.
• Update and navigate benefits systems with accuracy.
• Respond to benefit inquiries via inbox and appointments.
• Facilitate benefit presentations for New Hire Orientation and Annual Enrollment.
• Assist in planning and executing Annual Enrollment activities.
• Audit benefit elections and premiums for accuracy.
• Update benefit communication materials.
• Collaborate with vendors, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
