Job summary

Guidelight Health seeks a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to support patients in PHP/IOP programs onsite at Sisters Grove, Colorado Springs. Under supervision of licensed professionals, you will implement treatment plans, facilitate activities, and help ensure patient safety and well-being.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 1-2 years in behavioral health, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Human Services or a related field.
• 1-2 years experience in behavioral health settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain on hire).
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient support during treatment and activities of daily living.
• Document patient behaviors and progress; report changes to clinical team.
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation.
• Engage patients in therapeutic activities to promote regulation and skills.
• Collaborate with licensed therapists, nurses, and staff for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health and coping strategies.
• Monitor safety and enforce treatment environment protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
