Job summary

AVI-SPL, INC. is seeking an Onsite Maintenance Technician to provide on-site support for AV systems at customer sites in the Charlotte area. The role focuses on delivering world-class customer service, maintaining AV spaces, and ensuring equipment operates as designed.

You will perform preventive maintenance, deploy and train clients on AV technology, and collaborate with project teams. Travel to multiple locations may be required, and safety standards must be followed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Setup and breakdown of conference spaces to meet event needs.
• Preventative maintenance of AV spaces and testing hardware.
• Clean AV equipment and perform basic repairs.
• Document job site activities and provide client training on AV tech.
• Assist with on-site support including video recording where applicable.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams.
• Follow local safety standards for site duties.
• Setup, operate and troubleshoot AV systems.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
